“I think of myself as a blue-collar painter, as far as quality goes, most of the miniatures I paint are beyond table top quality.”

Getting a Quote
How to obtain a quote for services:
When you are ready to request a quote, simply contact me! Feel free to send me pictures, scanned documents, or the like, to give me an idea of what you are looking for. You can’t be too detailed! If you include links please remember not all browsers are the created equal and I can’t guarantee what I am seeing is what you are seeing! When in doubt I prefer pictures over links any day.
Once I receive your initial email, I’ll contact you ASAP, generally within a business day or so. We’ll correspond with you regarding the project and throw some numbers your way. Once both parties are agreed on the terms of the project, we’ll send you an actual quote.

All sales are final
Because of the specialized nature of the work we do (I.E., projects are at client request and subject their aesthetic tastes and choices) all sales are final.
As you can imagine, the more elaborate the model commissioned, the harder the model commissioned, the harder the model is to resell. Each client has different tastes and preferences, and rarely will two clients be willing to pay the same price for the same custom model. Aesthetic taste is not, however, a means by which to measure the quality of my work.
That being said, if you have an issue with any of your items, please contact me. I will work with you to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event that we aren’t able to come to an amicable agreement for all parties, I will sell your items through any means available to attempt to recoup all losses (see “Canceled Orders” below for more information).
Canceled Orders:
In regards to Canceled Orders/Abandoned Projects/ No response from client:
The client has 30 (thirty) days from the time of project completion to complete payment in full for the project. If no contact is made by the client within 30 (thirty) days of project completion or no payment is received, the project is considered ABANDONED and becomes the property of WOTWP.
If a reasonable effort to satisfy the client is unsuccessful, WOTWP may, at their sole discretion, choose to cancel a project at any time. If after a project is initiated, a client changes their mind about a project or wishes to cancel the project, WOTWP may at their sole discretion choose to retain the project materials in their finished or unfinished form by refunding the client’s deposit in full 30 days after property ownership transfer by email money transfer.
Alternately, WOTWP may attempt to recoup the losses by selling the project (in its completed or unfinished state) by any means necessary.
Timeframe:
WOTWP will take every effort to complete the project in a reasonable time period, allowing sufficient time for the purchasing and receiving of materials to complete the project. Generally, it takes 1-2 weeks to receive all materials, 1-3 weeks to complete the project (depending on the complexity and number of pieces involved), and another 1-2 weeks to ship the item and have it received by the client. Holidays can delay some projects for multiple reasons.
Project completion:
Once the project is completed, WOTWP will email pictures of the finished project to the client for their final approval. Alternately, WOTWP may provide a link to your pictures on the web. If the client has concerns or questions, WOTWP will make reasonable effort to satisfy the client and meet their requests, including making minor and reasonable changes to the project.
WOTWP will send a final request for the balance owed on the project (the final 80% plus shipping/handling and applicable taxes). Once payment is received the item will be mailed within 3 business days.
Local Pickups and drop-offs:
I am based out of Okotoks Alberta Canada just outside of Calgary, I am sometimes asked by local clients to arrange for Local pickup and drop-offs. This is a convenience service intended for clients that wish to receive the models quickly and without risk of shipping damage; it is not meant to be a way to save on shipping costs at our expense of time and fuel, as such we do not waive the shipping charges unless the items are picked up/dropped off directly from my studio.
Lost or damaged orders:
Sadly, some orders do get lost. For those orders deemed lost AFTER being received by WOTWP we will reimburse the client. That said we do not ship items without shipping insurance and tracking numbers both included in your shipping cost.
Please note that a refund will not be granted until sufficient time for the order to be delivered has been allotted (twice the typical shipping speed). Refunds cannot be issued until said insurance has been paid in proper order to WOTWP.
We cannot accept liability for goods damaged in transit. You are purchasing services from two different entities: WOTWP for your materials and service; Canada post or another appropriate shipping service to get your package to you in reasonable condition. If your package is abused en route that’s an issue to take up with the carrier.
However, if you send the model back I can repair, touch up and re-ship it at little to no charge. This is a discretionary service, I will do it most of the time but it is not guaranteed, this is not intended as a refurbishing service for your entire army.
Packaging:
The objective of packing is that the models arrive in a timely fashion to the client with no breakage. Address labels should be clear and easy to read. Models should not touch each other at any time during transit. Large, fragile or unusual models are mummified in tissue paper, regular infantry models rolled in bubble wrap like a burrito with a few inches of padding between rows, more if needed. All gaps in the burrito wrap must be sealed in some fashion (often tape) so the model cannot fall out. If necessary, larger more breakable models will be placed inside a small box with foam peanuts and placed inside the main shipment box separately.
The shipment will then be marked fragile, and use the best shipping methods available to ensure that the package and your items remain unharmed during transit. I want your items to arrive safely for you to enjoy for years to come!
As-Is.
Unless otherwise stated, all products and miniatures are provided As Is with no guarantee or warranties afforded. Although I do my best to ensure your items are handled delicately and shipped securely, the nature of shipping miniatures and models with delicate parts is that some items get damaged during transit.
Shipping:
Shipping costs pertain not only to postage, but shipping materials, labor to pack your items, gas to get them to the post office as well as other related costs. Please don’t get upset with me when I charge you $10 to ship a model but the shipping package clearly states $5.34 in postage!
